Your project is in queue to begin production. It is likely we have ordered the covering or finish (if not already in stock) and waiting for raw materials to begin your project. Don't worry. This is normal and part of our lead times.
Most of our products require cutting or CNC work to obtain the dimensions you requested. At this stage, we are cutting and shaping to your dimensions within 1/16" tolerance.
When your project demands a hardened edge, this is the stage we apply a hardening agent to the edges of our product. The hardening agent must cure for 12-24 hours prior to completing your product build.
The stage where your product begins to look like what you ordered. We are applying a covering with our patented Vacu-bond process or assembling all the components.
We are wrapping our panels, baffles, and clouds or edge banding our wood acoustics systems. When wrapping, experienced craftspeople are creating the corners and edges you have come to expect with our products. If edge banding, we are using industry-leading equipment and polyurethane adhesives to create a beautiful wood edge.
While each station leader is responsible for ensuring quality materials and assembly, the buck stops here! Our QA experts are examining all aspects of your order - clean crisp edges, strong corners, finish pattern or grain direction, size, count, and requested hardware. It is important to us that your order is accurate and installers have what they need to be efficient and successful.
We are building your crate(s) and preparing your project to be shipped. If we are responsible for shipping, we are scheduling pick-up and all the necessary paperwork.
At this point, your project is ready to leave our facility and we have sent you an electronic invoice for final payment.
We're all done! Your project is shipped and we have collected payment. This is where we feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to build one of our Sonus products for you.
